Reconnecting with The Runyons

Forsyth Galleries | Memorial Student Center, MSC 2428

In the 1980s, Bill ’35 and Irma Runyon provided funding and a collection of 19th and early 20th century American paintings and European and American art glass to form the foundation of the Forsyth Galleries.

Along with this gift came a wealth of photos of the Runyons, their collections as they had them displayed in their home, and a wide range of related ephemera that provide insights into the family and how they lived.

In 2023, the Forsyth will feature a series of displays showcasing the fascinating life of this Texas A&M alumni and his family.
