30-minute presentation followed by open Q&A session and a reception
J. Wayne Stark Galleries | Memorial Student Center, MSC 1110
Join us for these interdisciplinary dialogues in the spirit of Leonardo DaVinci on the last Wednesdays of the month at noon. The series seeks to inspire artists, scientists and technologists to collaborate and present interdisciplinary research while nurturing a culture that integrates art, science and technology for meaningful interdisciplinary connections.
The local community, faculty and students are invited to attend and to collaborate on creative ideas.
“Art has the power to inspire other disciplines, such as science and technology, by fostering integration that drives innovative research,” Dr. Jinsil Hwaryoung Seo, director of the Institute for Applied Creativity in the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts and an associate professor in Visualization, said. “It also allows students to recognize the potential of the arts as a valuable resource they can incorporate into their studies and future careers.”
Presented by the Texas A&M University Institute for Applied Creativity; College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts; and the Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research. Hosted by the Texas A&M University Art Galleries.
