Holiday quilted potholder featuring holiday tree and seasonal fabric swatches.

Holiday Mini Quilt Workshop

With Donna Galvan, owner of Donna’s Quilting Respite

Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024 | 2–3 p.m.
Forsyth Galleries | Memorial Student Center, MSC 2428

Come stitch with us! Donna of Donna’s Quilting Respite will be teaching a free workshop on how to hand-stitch a holiday quilted potholder. This is a beginner class, no experience is necessary. All supplies will be provided.

You’ll learn basic stitches and have a finished potholder to take home with you.

While you’re in the galleries, draw inspiration from our current exhibition, “Pattern Recognition,” featuring artistic expressions of patterns through quilts, furnishings, glass, and more!

RSVPs are required for this class and spots are limited.

The Forsyth is a non-profit and uses its budget to pay for teachers and materials. If you sign up and then are not able to attend, please contact Heather Bennett at [email protected].
