The J. Wayne Stark Galleries presents Elements with Enid, a floral perspective using the elements and principles of floral design to take a fresh look at mid-century designer, Enid Collins.
This exhibition spans more than 50 years of fashion history and haute couture handbag designs from legendary Texas-based designer, Enid Collins. It features multi-media works created by Texas A&M University students in the class, HORT 453 Floral Art, in the Department of Horticultural Sciences and artworks by Enid, herself.
Enid Collins of Texas handbags and other fashion accessories are on loan from the Finding ENID with LOVE collection, of Longmont, Colorado. Founder Karen Adler serves as the collection manager for more than 2,000 original Enid Collins handbags, fashion accessories, archival materials, and derivatives, including unauthorized knock-offs that Enid dubbed “copy cats.”

Jeep Collins, son of Frederic and Enid Collins, is a jewelry designer and author of the 2021 memoir, Enid: From Small Town Texas to 5th Avenue New York: The Story of Enid Collins and her beloved box hand-bags. Jeep will be at the opening reception to sign copies of his book, which will be available for purchase.
