Forsyth Learning Gallery | Memorial Student Center, MSC 2428

Visit the Forsyth Galleries for a family-friendly evening of visual and performing arts as we celebrate our newest exhibition, Focusing on Asia.

  • Focusing on Asia – View examples of fine and decorative arts made in Asia or influenced by the arts of Asia in this cultural exhibition.
  • The Kids are Alright Screening – Watch a screening of The Kids are Alright, a short by Texas Composer, Nathan Felix. In his third collaboration with the University Art Galleries, Felix looks at creativity and curiosity from the playful perspective of students from the Becky Gates Children’s Center, brought to life with the help of a cellist, a vocalist, an educator, and a composer. This piece is sure to inspire both the young and the young at heart.
  • Snacks & Art Activity – The evening wouldn’t be complete without a selection of fun, sweet treats and a spooky art activity, suitable for all ages.

RSVPs are appreciated. This event is free and family friendly.
