Cutting In: Intaglio Prints from the TAMU Collections

This exhibition will explore various intaglio printmaking techniques including etchings, engravings, aquatints, mezzotints, and drypoints using artworks in the university’s collections. Viewers will see examples from the 17th through the 20th centuries where these techniques were used for everything from maps and magazine illustrations to contemporary imagery. Artists featured in the exhibition include Luigi Rossini, George Cruikshank, Marie Laurencin, Stanley Hayter, and many more.
